The nose is greeted by an inviting bouquet of mango and delicate meadow herbs, piquing curiosity. This wine reveals juiciness, elegance, and a subtle hint of fruit sweetness on the palate. Yellow fruit tones and a well-structured acidity contribute finesse, making it an excellent companion for any meal.

For those with patience, it is worthwhile to let this wine rest in the cellar for a few years. My Grüner Veltliner Smaragd possesses the ideal characteristics for extended ageing.

Pinot Blanc Smaragd

My Pinot Blanc originates from approximately 45-year-old vines. Its well-balanced growth is perfectly reflected in the wine. Typical Burgundian aromas such as pear, lemon, and spicy notes dominate the nose. The palate offers a harmonious blend of acidity, fruit sweetness, and a long finish.

Chardonnay Smaragd

This Chardonnay exemplifies why Burgundy vines have their place in the Wachau.

Floral notes, prickly pear, fresh honey, and dried fruits intermingle in the nose. On the palate, it is full-bodied, providing an invigorating interplay of tannins and well-balanced acidity. The finish showcases an enchanting combination of freshness and length.
